Rehoming/Owner Surrender
Our ability to take a dog into rescue is determined by having a foster available to take the dog and meet their individual needs. Please note, that we do not have a wait list and all of our foster homes have resident dogs so we can not take in a dog who is aggressive toward other dogs.
Every rescue and shelter is different with their ability to take a dog into their program, we do suggest reaching out to multiple places. MACC has a great list of rescues that have been approved by them.
Temporary Placement
Minnesota Alliance for Family & Animal Safety (MNAFAS) provides safe and temporary foster care for the pets of domestic violence and sexual assault victims while they address their safety needs.
The Bond Between Respite Foster Care Program
Cross Post
They provide a rehoming service for people who can keep their pets until a good permanent home is found.
