At-a-glance - are we a good match?!
No two rescues operate on the same exact principles, nor have the same priorities, hopes, and expectations for their dogs. With that in mind, we developed this quick at-a-glance checklist to help potential fosters & adopters determine if they may be a good match with our program:
Do you...
If you can whole-heartedly answer YES to all of the above, we match up well on what we consider to be hallmarks of responsible ownership and management. If your honest answer to any of those questions is NO, but you're open to learning more and reconsidering some issues, we're always open to chat more prior to application.
MPBR does not encourage same-sex placements.
(If you have a female dog and want to adopt another female dog)
Considering a same sex adoption?
Read more HERE on what is expected.
Some dogs are available for Foster to Adopt. Meaning the dog would come to you directly from the shelter/transport and the dog would be with you for 2 weeks.
At the two week mark, you can make a choice- adopt, continue to foster until an adoptive family applies, or give the dog to another foster within our program to find its forever home. All supplies and vetting will be provided during the foster to adopt period.
