FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!
Check out our Frequently Asked Questions page for more details on fostering and what to expect.
How fostering for Minnesota Pit Bull Rescue works:
Fill out the online application to be a foster parent.
We will contact you when the application is received. We will also check your personal and vet references and conduct a home check.
If you are approved, we will work with you to figure out what type of dog will fit into your home the best. (Sex, Age, Personality)
The intake team will find a match for your household and have you meet the dog.
If you agree, you will be able to take the dog home and start fostering.
The dog will then be put up on the website for potential adopters to see.
Potential adopters will fill out an adoption application which will be looked over by the rescue and then sent to you for your thoughts.
If the applicant is approved on paper, we will set up a meet and greet. The first meet and greet will be at an adoption event.
If the first meet and greet goes well, the references will be checked on the applicant. There will be a second meet and greet at the potential adopter's home.
If all goes well at the second meet and greet, the dog will stay in the adoptive home.
If you are interested in fostering, please fill out the foster application.
